This Etruscan-inspired digital wine label illustration was created as my entry for the a contest by Umberto Cesari : a call for artist to change the The artwork reflects the theme requested by the winery: responsible enjoyment, personal and collective well-being, sociability, conviviality, quality, and the time needed to truly experience wine in a convivium.

The composition features four serene faces, each with an open mouth as if engaged in calm conversation. This moment of dialogue is the essential ingredient of conviviality: an exchange that goes beyond the wine itself, embracing care, history, and nature.

The negative space formed by the silhouettes of the faces recalls the shape of a vine trunk. Inside this area, I used a colour palette inspired by Etruscan art, softened for a more delicate feel. The patterns alternate between flowing shapes (a nod to the rolling hills) and three symbolic motifs:

• Historical roots of wine culture: stylised vine forms inspired by ancient Etruscan depictions.

• Respect for the environment: represented by the linden flower, a plant naturally found in the winery’s surroundings.

• Care for the soil: expressed through irregular geometric shapes, symbolising the organic elements of the earth.
