Illustrated chocolate packaging
This series features three variations of a chocolate packaging pattern, each designed to celebrate the origins of cacao and the rich atmosphere of the tropics. I wanted these illustrations to feel warm, evocative, and rooted in place, so I drew inspiration from the fauna surrounding the Andes, like leopards, hummingbirds, frogs… and paired them with cacao pods.
It is often part of my style to fill my illustrations with decorative details, little elements waiting to be discovered, and this time I drew inspiration from motifs reminiscent of pre-Columbian visual traditions.
The result is a set of patterns that blend storytelling, cultural references, and a strong sense of identity.
These designs are particularly suited for small and medium-sized chocolate brands, artisanal producers, or food businesses that value authenticity and want their packaging to reflect the uniqueness of their product. Illustration can transform a simple wrapper into an experience: it can communicate origin, craft, care, and personality in a way that speaks directly to customers.
Because I am also a small independent illustrator, I understand the importance of creating visuals that feel both distinctive and attainable, perfect for limited editions, seasonal releases, or premium product lines looking to stand out.
Suitable uses include chocolate bars and limited-edition cacao products, artisanal food packaging, and small-batch or storytelling-focused collections.
