Wine Label for "Il Furastèr"

Il Fùrastèr is a small winery based in Vigoleno, in the hills of Piacenza, where wine is produced with passion, care, respect for the land, and a strong personal vision. They asked me to develop an illustrated design to visually support the qualities and giving a recognizable and evocative presence to Remino: a fresh, characteristic and natural rosé, ideal for aperitifs and informal gatherings.

I reworked the existing symbol of the butterfly, already present on the previous label, as a symbol of lightness and freshness, echoing the easy convivial moments this wine is made for. The shells instead reference the fossil-rich soils of the vineyard, a distinctive element of the terroir that gives the wine its mineral identity.

I’m very happy about this collaboration, which began in 2025 with the owner of this small winery and grew from a shared sensitivity toward craftsmanship, care, and storytelling.
Through projects like this, illustration naturally becomes part of food and wine packaging, supporting small producers in expressing their identity and communicating the values behind their products.

I’m an Italian illustrator working with independent food and wine businesses, creating illustrated labels and packaging that combine visual narrative, symbolism, and an artisanal approach.
