Welcome to "il Pallino per i Pattern"
In Italian, “avere il pallino per qualcosa” (literally “to have a little ball for something”) means to be deeply passionate about it.
Il Pallino per i Pattern plays with this double meaning: patterns are a little obsession for me and every design I create begins with a watercolor dot.

As the name is playful, so is the beginning of this side project. In my sketchbooks I often used to make watercolor swatches and fill them with tiny motifs to develop ideas for larger illustrations. One day, by aligning these dots next to each other, I realized I had unintentionally created a pattern — and I fell in love with the result. That instinctive discovery became the seed of this project.
I know this isn’t exactly what you’d call ‘trendy’… but, seriously, do we really need me to make yet another trendy pattern?
I decided to stay true to this personal style conscious it doesn’t follow mainstream trends in surface pattern design. Sometimes this choice feels risky, but I believe that difference can turn into strength. Uniqueness, when placed in the right context, can become the key to standing out.
